What do families do? They cover up for each other.

The CC of GMP also said it was a "dark day" for the force .... maybe, but I wonder how many "dark days" that force has inflicted on others?

I doubt the total number of police killed at work exceeds 5 over the last 20 years (for goodness sake - they are still going on about Yvonne Fletcher !!!) and would not in the least be surprised to learn that the number of, say, nurses (esp psychiatric nurses) actually exceeds that number.

Simple facts such as this will NOT stop them demanding yet more powers and ammo (to go with the Tasers / CS Gas etc) ... and guns !
