Sickened also to see the inevitable calls for the death penalty for cop killers again.

Not for child murderers or mass murderers, or indeed for police who kill civilians, but definately for the killers of men and women who chose a profession that brings with it the (small) risk of death.

And why are they making such a fuss over the fact that the two dead police officers are women - referring to them as 'innocent angels' and 'petals' etc? If women are more vulnerable as police officers then maybe they shouldn't be in that profession (oh no, but that would be sexist to even suggest such a thing).

Or maybe it's just that a woman's life is valued infinitely more than a man's - as it's always been since year zero?

If there was a memorial day for those who died in custody, no doubt during the march the Police would be out in force, beating the shit out of the demonstrators.... and then claim that they came 'under attack'!
