In fairness Tony Blackburn and all the others have pretty much said the same for years - it's no issue and not an indictation of them "bottling it". Jimmy didn't mix with them and pretty much hid behind his on-screen 'personality'.

They are all wary. If they admitted to knowing him too well, the media would assume they must have known what he was up to....maybe even assume they were part of it??!
