Were Hacks always so pure? 12 Years, 9 Months ago
Not if Lester Middlehurst's private stories about some of the current Editors were to be believed! One day soon they will emerge.

careers of the spotlight deprived are being re-ignite due to Jimmy Savile.

Witness this brillaint piece in the glorious Daily Mail by esteemed biographer Dan Davies, a scribe so blessed with insight it was apparent almost from his time in the crib:

"I was nine and Jim’ll Fix It was one of Britain’s biggest family shows. My overriding memory of that evening was not of giddy excitement but of leaving the theatre afterwards with nagging doubts about Jimmy Savile."

Sadly Mr Davies superb intellect evident at age 9 had abadoned him in later life and the tale in the Mail basically means that when he penned Savile's biogarphy he is admitting is was a pack of lies and mis-information.

Still he does a great service by demolishing one of Savile's other crimes against society..daring to have a Leed's decorated flat not to Mr Davies' taste.
