DAILY EXPRESS : VETERAN DJ and broadcaster Sir Jimmy Savile died today, sources said.
The 84-year-old was found at his home in Roundhay, Leeds, just after midday today.
Broadcaster Stuart Hall said on BBC Radio 5live that Sir Jimmy was "unique" but "a loner".
He added: "He had lots of imitators, the one and only Jimmy Savile."

A FRUIT and veg man dressed as Santa and a retired porter in a cowboy hat and covered in bling file past a gold coffin.
The start of Jimmy Savile’s three-day funeral was as flamboyant as the man himself.
They were just two of the characters from thousands of people who filed past his casket in Leeds yesterday, where there was also a photo of the flamboyant DJ and, in an ashtray, half a cigar, the last he smoked.
