I have no idea of the 'lads' involved but I can fully believe that a 15 year old could be confused as looking 18 these days. Is it the hormone or additives in the food we eat?. Teens seem to look far older than they are. Even more so in the USA where 15 year olds look around 19. note the weird desire for revenge from the Dad :

So he says his son participated in this but then dumped her. Why does he want revenge?

In what way would incarcerating the woman affect his sons?
