I was at Duncroft around 1974 to 1975 then to Norman Lodge then 'dumped' out of the system on my own. No family, no 'support' nothing. Hardly surprising life went all wrong again.

I love the way they called this school a place for disturbed but 'intelligent' girls like that makes a difference.

she also carries on like being in a council house in Oswestry is some sort of living hell. I lived for 2 years just outside of Oswestry and it's beautiful countryside and a wonderful place. Didn't have a frigging cheap council house though.

mind you I did give the chef of a restaurant I was working in an LSD trip on a Saturday night and he covered the Kitchen in flour but that's a tale for another day.

because she's been fibbing as Ms Raccoon pointed out : at her age she would have been only 14 in 74 and Duncroft didn't accept 14 year olds.

So she was 16/17 at Duncroft when she was exchanging b/js with Savile fro cigarettes-

I thought Anna said that Ward/Alcock's birthday is 25th March? So, I gathered that she'd of been 16, 3 days after the recording of "Clunk Click" with Gary Glitter. This suggests she was born on 25th March 1958.

The Newsnight bit (not shown last year) said she was now 52. So, that suggests, she was 52 in 2011. So this year, she must of been 53. 38 from 53, leaves 15. So, she's lost a year somewhere & so says she was born in 1959.

I'd like to see her birth certificate...though likely as not, it's conveniently missing.

It would appear she felt obliged to live up to the name "Alcock"

A quick search of the Ancestry website reveals her birth as Karen Eddolls was registered in Norfolk Apr/May/Jun 1958. So if her birthday is 25th March that fits. Hence she was born 25th March 1958.

And Dee Coles who claimed on his show Savile assaulted her, ran a 'survivors network' yet never mentioned this alleged abuse.

I'm reading the death of the life of Jimmy Savile too, really impressed with all the reading the guys done - and totally agree with him
