Just Me

Tommy Boyd on Jimmy Savile 12 Years, 6 Months ago
Each One Of Those Logos Earms Me £25,000
By Tommy Boyd

Naivete
I am naive, often. Or at best, trusting in people.

Sir Jimmy Savile
I did a TV show with him once and for reasons I still can’t fathom he asked me to join him on a charity run. I was 24. He was doing 12 miles a day for a whole month, all round the country. I did Wembley to Ruslip with him as I remember. It was just the two of us, and running, you talk a lot. He had 3 topics: fame, money and women.

Here Are Some Snippets:

JS: “Tell me young man, what car do you drive?”
TB: “ A mini.”
JS: “That’s a good pulling car the mini, I had a mini and it really pulled the birds. My Rolls Royce, would you believe, is rubbish for pulling.”
Another:
JS: Do you know how much I get paid for Savile’s Travels? (His Radio One Show). I get £6.50 per show. I charge the BBC the union minimum, so the accountants can’t get me sacked for being expensive. Keeps my name in lights you see.”
TB: “How do you make your money then?”
JS: “Well take today. We’re running along for charity and my assistants are going round with collecting tins. They might rake in a couple of hundred quid. But look at my shorts. They’re covered in company logos, and the local press are filming and photographing my every move. Each one of those logos earns me £25,000. That’s mine.”
Another:
JS: “Where do you live?”
TB: “A flat in Richmond. Where do you live?”
JS: “I have a flat in London, and in Manchester. A house in Scunthorpe, another in Blackpool. Thirteen houses in all, including a house in Tokyo with a new Toyota in the garage I’ve never seen.”
TB: “How come?”
JS: “Never get paid in cash. Ask for a house or a car. The taxman can’t work out what’s a quarter of a car.”
Then...(I’m sorry this is creepy knowing what we are now told).
JS: “When I go out on the pull. I write my telephone number on lots of little bits of paper. If I see a lady I like I slip her one of the pieces of paper. I’ve got two phones in my flat, so if one rings the next day, I know it’s a lady worth meeting. I leave it for a few days, sometimes ladies are shy. Then I block the phone number, get a new number and off I go again.”

Warning
After we finished the run one of his assistants was chatting to me, suddenly she said, out of the blue “Don’t get anywhere near Jimmy okay? He has no friends, just “associates”. There are things you don’t need to know. And I can’t tell you anymore, because he knows how to take revenge.” And she looked at me with eyes I can’t forget.
Most people in the media suspected. It’s truly astonishing he behaved the way he did, apparently harming so many lives, all the while in the nation’s spotlight. In our hearts. And no-one got it out there.

I was lured into a sex ring when I was 16 as well.

I think it was called the Dorchestor Arms or something like that..South London, a pub on the corner ..wandered in one day with an older man (18).

Their lustful eyes were all over me. I knew the bartender wanted my body and the barmaid gave me a wink..I knew what that meant..she wanted to grope my private parts. How did I know ?..I handed her a fiver and she gave me the change and her hand lingered clasped around mine for 3 seconds..that's rape in my mind.

It was a pedo ring alright..a dirty old aged pensioner's eyes raped me as he glared at me..the couple in the corner mentally undressed me.

If I had given in they would used and abused me and handed me onto the next pedo until I finally reached Jimmy Savile via Anthony Blunt, Ted Heath and The Kray Twins.

Then the evil old landlord pedo who was head of this pedo ring pounced on me and asked me for ID.."your'e underaged " he said "yeh" I replied "just how you like them you ghastly old pedo". The c*nt called the cops and what they do ? They abused and raped me by grabbing my arms and escorting me outside. How long does a policeman need to hold your arms I ask you?....15 seconds I counted..it was like double rape. Now I'm in a council flat and my life is ruined.

Personally, I blame the new World Order that runs the BBC.

Say what they want to hear elsewhere, and they'll say brilliant. Say what they want to hear in here, and they'll say the same.

I've always loved the "No smoke without fire" slogan... coming from the world of showbiz that's used Dry Ice for decades.

Re:Tommy Boyd on Jimmy Savile 12 Years, 6 Months ago
Always thought Tommy Boyd was a decent bloke myself.....his radio shows are often 'fun poking' at over serious do gooders, but also erudite and searching enough to do the same to people he has interviewed who need questions asking.......in general, he seems to me to be an OK bloke.

I've never met Tommy Boyd, no, in the same way I never met JS, but how many of you have met JK either? The cyber world is as warped as TV and Radio land in terms of who knows who.....

PS no smoke without fire.....? OK, but you can see a magician program on telly about how they do 'magic'.....it is smoke and mirrors......so if we can't have the 'truth (fire) without a smoke trace' then we can have 'truth obscured by a magic illusion' .....deception, misdirection call it what you will, but what you see, isn't always what you get.

I worked with Tommy on Talk Radio; excellent broadcaster, good guy.

Never make the mistake of assuming false claims are inspired by malice, greed or revenge. Many are genuine mistakes or assumptions. Memory plays strange tricks. Many accusers are totally convinced their memories are accurate and in most cases they are 90% true; it's the 10% assumptions or inflation that colours the experience after years.

A peck on the cheek can easily become a tongue down the throat with the passage of time and the assistance of the media.

Iconic maverick ex-Beeb & Commercial Radio-TV & Kids’-shows, bold Brit-broadcaster Tommy Boyd.

“ The news media in the UK doesn’t serve the public very well. Most journalists are complete tossers and adjust the stories to make them more sensational than they really are. I said this while on air on LBC, I co-hosted, [with Murdoch-victim Anne Diamond] the Breakfast Show which, at the time, was owned by ITN. One of the executives heard this while he was shaving and told me that News was a commodity and I should not be saying these things on-air. My contract wasn’t renewed strictly for those reasons but I had said more objectionable things on air in addition to that. ”

‘Rock On Tommy’ U can cum back on our show anytime at all y’all.
