But will they publish and discover everyone thought the women were lying or exaggerating and that their claimed abuse never took place?

Not a hope. Not in a million years. Not because it's true or false but because they won't dare say that.

JK: Would you say that the Savile stuff, escalated from Karin Ward's claims? I would say that this is when the exaggeration also started. Is it just coincidence that she's had 3 husbands & she named 3 people in the interviews? She is the dodgy character in my book, that started the hysteria, by been absolutely hysterical, herself.

it's getting silly

The Daily Mail had a particularly lurid interview with one of Savile's niece's the other day. It went into salacious detail about how he would have her sit on his knee when she was just 13 and wearing a short dress - and he would always be wearing a shell suit.

Only this was supposed to have happened in the 1970's, and shell suits weren't invented until the next decade.

A brave Daily Mail reader pointed this out in the comments section....and promptly got 300+ downvotes.

I guess it's a bit like somebody standing up in a cinema during the saddest or the most gripping moment and telling the rest of the audience it isn't real, it's only a film.

her story was illuminating as a good example of how the media distorts.

she claimed that all Savile's family knew (including her Grandmother) but were 'bought off' by gifts and a house, holidays and so on.

So what was probably a man's generosity to his family and his granny is turned into another evil act.
