Savile's estate, goaded by the media and false accusers, freeze his assets.
Result? Charities are millions out of pocket.
Including Leeds Hospital ("Mad Pratt says Jimmy abused children in front of him - 20 years before he worked there"...) which now cannot open the wing for heart patients planned... result? Some heart patients will die as a direct result.

it will be a decade- if that- before anyone now gets money from his estate.

whatever one thinks of Savile, whatever the claims are if true, suing his estate is vicious and nasty and the ultimate indication of the claimant's greed.

Yes; of all the nasty, vicious, small minded, bent aspects of this ghastly episode, I think this is the one that most offends me.

The damage it will do to innocent people is enormous. And why? Pure greed; if not for cash, for attention and sympathy and attention.

It makes you realize how vile small people can be. And is the ultimate proof of the culture of false accusers.

Agree fully - but if we dont sell them - someone else will (some countries dont even have our "loose morals")!

Thats why its essential that the Arab Spring spreads as wide as possible.

We are. We who buy newspapers, watch TV, listen to the radio and demand A GOOD STORY.

And our media, who choose to publish without responsibility or thought for consequences.
This lack of regard means they are allowed (by us, our judges, our politicians) to give us good stories, whether or not they are true.

Yes there are libel laws etc to protect some living but not, of course, for the dead.

And when we react according to media rules, the inevitable ramifications cause death and destruction.

Like those poor Leeds soon-to-be corpses whose lives would have been saved by the monies donated for research and facilities by Jimmy Savile.

this is a new phenomena with a while to run yet...even the dead are not safe.

by accepting claims from 40 years ago, they are opening the way for historic abuse blaming the dead, especially the rich and famous.

and they will stay 'they are so brave coming forwards'..brave?..why ? they can remain anonymous.
