the hysteria that has gotten out of hand is backfiring on tabloids promoting the claims of pedo rings running amok.

A few dozen 'conspiracy' websites all feed off each other and promote the concept that because something isn't investigated, because bizarre claims were made and not taken seriously..there is some sort of well organised conspiracy.

They are run by down and outs who demand to be sued..a fruitless task.

perhaps that is the real plot here : to undermine the mass media who are only too ready to jump on the bandwagon.

Maybe Leveson will recommend criminal libel come back on the books. It should to stop all these crazies on the internet thinking they are impervious.
It will all end in tears.

Not too sure, veritas - do you really think that the thickies who "read" the tabloids care about any of this?
