Judging yesterday's behaviour by today's morality... 12 Years, 8 Months ago
This is a really tricky aspect of today's law.

For example, should men who had love affairs with other men before 1967 still be prosecuted and jailed?

Answer - surely - of course not.

Should women who broke the law fighting for the right to vote now be prosecuted in their 90s? Of course not.

It seems mad that, in an era when Benny Hill chased girls at high speed around bushes and Sidney James pinched Barbara Windsor's bum, men groping women, however unpleasant in today's manners, should now be arrested, let alone prosecuted.

And when the only "evidence" is one person's word, police should not waste time, energy and money when they could be devoting their highly paid hours finding missing children.

Yes JK.

In any civilised modern free democracy, common-sense should prevail.

As, way back, Wilde rightly said, " We are dominated by journalism."

Apologies for too many adjective strings, hyphens-and-caps but still -A Good Story !

Er JK.

As with most issues now bent mainstream-raped, this thread surely should be:

" Misjudging yesterday's morals by today's immorality " ?

(Apologies for too-few-hyphens.)

... esp as facts show that these children are far more at risk from their own families than from ANY stranger.

Joan Bakewell made the most sensible observation : you may as well ask them why they sent children down the mines a 150 years ago. They would justify it and we probably couldn't change their minds.

Impossible to impose today's morality on distant past actions..in fact highly immoral to try and do so.

Hedda, her are the real dumbed-down daily own-goals.

There has never been such an immoral, low, dishonest in-denial age, as the mock-Puritan Sex & Age-obsessed Anglophone late-20th/early-21st century, with mass multi-media 24/7.

Their daily sex-filled so called 'Family Friendly' moralising bent-mass media sexualizes their own non-victim Adultophile/kids 6 thru 16, incited by Page-3 near nude adults, Pop music, and much more.

Millions of predatory Adultophiles then propositioning and preying on mass victims such as teachers and other adults, while seXting & DIY-making camphone/CP brazenly defiant of crap so called Sex Laws - 90% all unreported natch. Yeah, Rupe's 'Vile Shock Horror Fury' SUNazi told it true - once in '010.

Since then, no follow up, just a deafening silence. Swept under their naZty neo-Victorian/mock-Puritan carpet, and resume standard perverse Ostrich pose. Arrogant heads stuck raving-right back up their own arses. (Insult to late great Rod's Emu.)

U really couldn't make it up, but hey, they don't have to make it up. It's happening 24/7-365 ongoing unchecked - now 99.9% all unreported natch.

" PUPILS as young as SIX have subjected teachers to sexual abuse, shocking reports reveal today. Kids all over Britain have ogled, groped and even threatened to rape staff in growing numbers, figures show.

Hundreds of teachers have been propositioned or ridiculed and children have even fondled themselves in class to embarrass them.

The scale of the harassment is uncovered in logs kept by local councils and just released under the Freedom of Information Act. They detail incidents over three years involving both primary and secondary school teachers. Most culprits were only suspended, then allowed back. In some cases no action was taken at all.

In one incident a boy aged six made “sexual suggestions” to a 49-year-old woman teacher in the West Midlands. A boy of eight licked a teacher’s leg and touched her breast in Cambridge. In Scotland a 16-year-old announced to his class he was going to rape their teacher. Other women were grabbed by the bottom or breasts and one was even followed into the loo. In one case a GIRL flashed her undies at a male teacher and “massaged herself in a sexual manner” in front of him.

The reports list a total of 305 incidents, but they were compiled by only 45 of 206 local authorities responsible for education and experts fear the true size of the problem is far worse. The Association of Teachers and Lecturers said: 'This behaviour is not appropriate. Schools need strong policies.' "

This bent-mainstream unreported issue ain't gonna go away anytime soon.

Though they, or their surviving families, SHOULD ALL be given grovelling state-pardons.

Plus, mass state-compensation payments for the terrible traumas suffered in their years from age 21 (or younger) as victims of a brutal homophobic UK-state.

Just as UK WW2-hero codebreak-genius, gay Alan Turing was finally pardoned in 2009, 55-years after his suicide due to UK-police vile persecution.

UK mass pardons and payments - why not ?!
