In the paper version I read this morning there is a screaming headline which reads "1000 Paedos On Register re-offend!" What the headline doesnt mention is that only HALF the people on the register are 'pedophiles' and of this number only 3% re-offend.

So what the paper has inadvertently done is highlight that out of 29500 people, only 941 have committed any further sexual offence!
