The other 2 were found innocent on appeal. In each case I'm positive the overwhelming prejudicial reporting influences jurors. Never even the judge who has retired is saying he feels she was hard done by.

CONVICTED child killer Keli Lane claims her trial for murdering her baby Tegan was unfairly prejudiced from the start.

Lane's appeal is set to argue the jury should have been instructed that manslaughter and infanticide were alternative charges to consider.

Her lawyers said on Sunday that details of the former water polo player's appeal will be lodged in the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal this week, and they have foreshadowed a bail application.

Apparently this sort of thing has been going on for decades - people convicted without any proper examination of the evidence. I found this case while doing my law course (GCSE). It dates back to 1992. Probably long forgotten now.

So, is infanticide not also murder (by another name)?

Anyone called Keli with a child called Tegan is definately guilty of something.
