The floods merely underline that scientists don't have a clue. "ANY rain we have between now (May 2012) and the autumn will make no difference whatever. The ONLY rain that fills up aquifers and sorts out droughts falls between October and March" they loftily proclaimed as it pissed down outside countless TV studios. Not quite right there, boffins. So Global Warming? It's bollocks.

Maybe, but with snow due this coming weekend (much earlier than usual), at first in the North but increasingly to lower levels and even as far south as London, I'm not so sure. A washout winter to follow the deluge summer and flooded autumn must point to something happening? yes the weather is changing and man has a role in it. Also forgot to mention - the arctic ice virtually disappeared this summer for the first time ever. That means lots of sea water to evaporate and dump itself on us this winter (starting Dec 7th for a week on low temperatures and snow !)
