How false allegations pay off 12 Years, 7 Months ago
Been following this case with interest : the Speaker in the Australian parliament was accused of 'sexually harrassing'his young male adviser.

Now the case has been kicked out of court with the judge declaring it was politically motivated to destroy the Speaker.

Yet...the young man has already received compensation of $50K.

Hedda, as if we need much more evidence.

Here's another bent-precedent to what was endemic long before and since, ongoing unchecked in all of phoney-Anglophonia UK/US/CA/OZ/NZ/SA/IE.

As the Sexy'70s bent-Judge(is there a straight-1?) said of the bent-'anti corruption' senior cop caged for 7-yrs for facilitating the Soho illegal Porn & Vice BIG scam and cover-up in what became known as 'The Fall Of Scotland Yard': " It Beggars Belief ! "

The Metropolitan Police had recently been rocked by exposure of massive corruption in the CID, and new commissioner Robert Mark, with the famous quote that "a good police force is one that catches more crooks than it employs", set about attempting to reform it. Among those rooted out were Commander Kenneth Drury, head of the Flying Squad, and Detective Chief Superintendent Bill Moody, head of the Obscene Publications Squad and ironically also of the Anti-Corruption Squad. Both were jailed, along with several other officers, and nearly 500 more were dismissed or forced to resign.

Of course, since those days 3-decades ago, things have changed.

They're far worse, but the cover-ups are much better !
