TOPIC: John Peel's "victim"
#91635
John Peel's "victim" 12 Years, 7 Months ago
She has had the courage to say she was not abused and John behaved impeccably.

Judging past morality by today's tabloid prurience... bad idea twelve years ago; even worse now.

If true gent late-great Margrave Of The Marshes was too gentlemanly.

Then maybe some young gals were disappointed, aBused-not-aMused by J.P's reticence.

Recalls now strictly NON-PC stereotype no hope plain-gal Pat Hayes as a Traffic Warden. Warned about a small side street where a 'flasher' was reported, Pat asked:

" And where EXACTLY is that street ? "

( P.S. Not forgetting John's, 29 Aug '04 'Indie On Sunday', last interview, last line: " Rupert Murdoch has destroyed most of what was good about this country." )

So that's where all your spare cash goes - no wonder you can't afford to buy a brand new Rolls!

Can you spare 50p for a cuppa tea guvner?

Peel's only great offence was claiming The Fall were a listenable group.
