People use FB to get a whole group of people in one place, that isn't possible by sending one email. On a business side (though I can't imagine what sort of business) it would probably be good to get a group of folks together.

Though saying that, it does draw some nutters, liars & wind up merchants. Personally I don't use it, much. Only to keep up to date, with particular favourite minor celebrities, that have pages. Though I never bother with Twitter (Twit being the appropriate word, especially Mark Williams-Thomas!)
