Though it was obviously not Roadshow related (as claimed), because JS never did the R1 Roadshow. It must of been during an 80s special event. Possibly in the Summer of 1980.

Are there any Radio 1 producers left from that era who HAVEN'T been questioned?? And they haven't even started on the thing that REALLY gets producers from that era twitching: payola.

Back on the story of the Hotel, with Ted & Jimmy...Having put it to someone that knew them, I'm told the story is likley to be nonsense anyway. Considering they'd of been more than one loo in the hotel & the other point (I made)he NEVER did the Radio One Roadshow. Rather made up, one thinks.
