So after my son has had 2 chest infections in the last month, I've been carrying one for a few weeks too. Had to book myself in to the minor injuries unit today nearby after finding it difficult to breathe over night. After dialing 111, the replacement for NHS Direct, the nurse on the other end went through her spiel and at the end said, 'You need to see a Doctor within 4 hours'.

So now on a course of 500mg of Amoxicillin and no booze for the next week or so. Not happy. But at least it's sorted.
