Pattaya Provincial Criminal Court Judge orders Andrew Michael Drummond bound over for Criminal trial on March 11, 2013 at 9 am. The court order states that at trial he must post 50,000 baht bail or a fugitive warrant will be issued and served on Drummond by police in Thailand. The procedure is if he fails to appear for that trial, Drummond will be arrested and sent to court. Drummond posts in his own name "Andrew Drummond" and also posts on the internet as "Flying Sporran" among other aliases.

yes he is the 'go to' stringer for Fleet Street but in the process has earned himself a ton of enemies in Thailand over the years..not just ex-pats but Thais. A very very dangerous thing to do.

And there is now a campaign to boot him out which I believe will succeed. It's finally dawned on government officials that his articles are extremely defamatory about Thailand.

Not the wisest thing to do but common in Asia where reputation means everything and gauche Westerners blow in and tell the locals how to live.
