Interesting; not very good but clearly an expensive ten part series for Daytime viewers (2.15 each weekday afternoon); lots of good period detail; the kind of thing normally on ITV like Foyle's War. No surprises, it reminds you of an ITV series. ITV screened their own series "Father Brown" with Kenneth More in the role, in a prime time slot in 1974. Again from G.K. Chesterton's books & film.
