Operation Fernbridge 12 Years, 5 Months ago
is this triumph of David Icke and conspiracy theorists ?

www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/cyri...se-case-8468370.html

Fantasy mixed with a few facts..the internet triumphs as Fleet Street cherry picks conspiracies and internet rumours and re-makes them into scandals.

Another legacy of Jimmy Savile..he must be laughing his head off wherever one goes when brown bread.

loved this bit :
." The source remembers the manager of the guest house becoming annoyed with Smith. "He broke one of her toilet seats and never paid up. She never got the money back off him."

A police investigation? Into another unproveable dead man. Look at it this way...At least he never broke the toilet entirely! It must of been a plastic seat, though. A wooden one, wouldn't of broke. "wood" it?

"A triumph of David Icke and conspiracy theorists"? That really must be some triumph, given the number of police and the financial resources allocated to Operation Fernbridge! 3 arrests already, possibly more to come -- not bad for a conspiracy "theory", eh? Obviously the "few facts" seem to have proved sufficient for the police to act, who are not known for their ability to do much on anything but the strongest evidence, i.e., when things cannot be denied any longer! Contrary to what you state, part of Fleet Street has consistently ignored the Elm Guest House case, mainly Murdoch's newspapers, or is that just another conspiracy theory? If Jimmy Savile is indeed laughing his head off, then it would be because he managed to get away with it for decades, not because there is nothing to investigate!!

These accusers are good at picking on a specific detail, which adds credence to their story.
Here it was a broken toilet seat, for JK it was a blue door
JK proved that was a lie, so perhaps we need forensic examination of all toilet seats in Elm Guest House - yuk!

You may be right Anon1 but I have yet to see any proof either way. And they did used to say a person is innocent until or unless proven guilty - whether alive or dead.
