TOPIC: BBC News strike

BBC News strike 12 Years, 5 Months ago
As BBC Brekkie was not on; I went across to ITV Daybreak.

Utterly ghastly, relentlessly morning jolly; that vile John Stapleton or whatever his name is and that woman who I think is married to Eamonn Holmes.

No Lorraine thank God (fake merry Scots matron).

Primary colours. Teeth. Grins. Shudderingly bad.

ITV is now a 24-hour Hell.

What's more - they fill most of the day with chat shows talking about the trite shite they show after 7pm (the soaps, infantile MWT shockumentaries, awful "reality" shows with Police, Bailiffs etc etc destroying peoples lives on camera). Then you have your 5 minutes of adverts for junk food & sub-prime high-cost borrowing aimed at their penniless hapless audience.
Immoral in every conceivable sense of the word. Everything is aimed at an audience that they can only see as complete and utter morons.

Completely Orwellian - I can't abide any of it.
