Disgraceful behaviour by media and police... ring any bells?

"Dear Lord Leveson... I think I have evidence to give about the relationship between media and police that leads to innocent people being presumed and eventually found Guilty"...

"Piss off King; we're not interested in the views of a Vile Pervert".

Is this REALLY of much interest to people in the UK? The news channels here are giving up huge chunks of time - the BBC was even happy to cover the audio of the judge, for the best part of an hour, with only a still picture on the screen, at lunchtime today. It surely doesn't merit more than a brief bit of daily coverage midway in the news bulletin schedules. (And of course, with reporters based live in South Africa, we get once again the web cameras whose pictures freeze or disintegrate every few seconds - the technology just isn't good enough yet to be used except in emergencies.)
