I think we've seen enough evidence that what goes on less civilised places is an eventually here.

Hunt down the old, dumb down the young, fill them all with the need for comforting propaganda and someone else to sneer at - that's where we're at.

As for the police - watch A Clockwork Orange, remove the poetry and culture from it and it's about right.
