I'm a huge fan of this wonderful woman who has worked tirelessly and unselfishly on behalf of us Brits. And I wish we had equally able and dedicated politicians.

It might be just as well you didn't get a knighthood if you insist on addressing her as "Queen"

I'm not one to wish ill of many people I haven't met and had dealings with face to face, and also even the few enemies I have I wouldn't kick 'em when they are laid low with stomach bugs..........BUT (you knew there was one coming didn't you?)..........its not headline news after the initial report. Shes ill, in hospital, but expected to get better. Thats it. End of. I'm sure she agrees as well. So we don't need reporters camped outside, we don't need media anchors interviewing the very same outside to ask when she has dinner delivered (thats dinner as in mid day meal, not the new fangled lunch / dinner differentiation) It isn't life threatening, it isn't worsening, it isn't new news until she is recovered. Report it and move on purlees.......
Leaving aside whether or not she's worth our tax monies, Andrew, I think she deserves our respect and gratitude for doing an excellent job for much longer than any other civil servant would be expected to do it.
