No. I don't know why people can't differentiate between conscripted forces and voluntary professionals. The former were poor scared bastards who deserve all the respect and compassion they get once a year these days, while the latter are generally nasty thugs or just idiots who fancy fighting rather than being a civilian, and they get lauded with all of this 'Help the Heroes' crap. They're not heroes, they're mere appendages of a war machine.

No one HAD to go .... they chose to go rather than have the courage to refuse.

Many of my ancestors died as a result of refusing to give-up their religion. You make your choice - and you make your stand.

But ... just as we all have differing intelligence levels, different "opinions" (qualified or not) will all be on a different level too.

Merely posting an insult - rather than making a contribution to a thread - is probably the lowest form of intelligence.

As I've said before - if people prefer not to hear my opinion they can always chose to ignore my posts (but they cannot, they are far too interested in what I have to say ... as evidenced by such interuptions).
