It's always annoyed me - English people insist on pronouncing him MICHAELangelo whereas everyone in Italy calls him Meekelangelo. He was Italian. Even Yentob slipped from one to another during his excellent show on the man about ten years ago.

I wonder whether the Cardinals, looking at the superb paintings around them as they voted for Pope Francis in the Sistine Chapel, thought about the sexuality of the man who painted them and wondered about the Catholic Church's attitude towards homosexuality.
