An intelligent and educated man but why - in his coverage of the false allegations report - does he not mention that it is possible that some convictions of sex offences may be based on foundations of fake claims?

And why doesn't one person somewhere in the media acknowledge that these "rare" cases of false allegations may be less rare and that some people convicted of sex crimes may be the victims of this?

I'm not saying they are. I'm not saying all sex offenders are innocent.

But I know I am. And that there is a chance - which should be acknowledged - that some convictions are unsafe. Good heavens - there are even a large amount of appeals granted.

Confusion, misunderstandings, genuine delusion, mental health, altered memories... it's not just greed for cash and compensation that can cause this. Or am I mad? Was mine the only example of this?

Or does every Editor, every hack, every DPP have the agenda... always believe the accusers as it's a better story?

It just seems crazy not to appear to acknowledge the fact that that can happen - especially if the accusers have been trawled for and shown incentives to make allegations before they've made them e.g stories to Newspapers, Criminal injuries etc...
