best excuse ever? ..... or a revelation about "that sort" ? 12 Years, 4 Months ago
Derby fire deaths: Mick Philpott 'didn't bathe for 12 weeks'

A man accused of starting a fire which killed six of his children said petrol was found on his clothes because he did not have a bath or shower for 12 weeks.

Michael Philpott told jurors his family had been "having the bathroom done" but he did wash his face with water.

He said he may have got fuel on his clothes after lending his neighbour a petrol-powered grass strimmer.

Mr Philpott, his wife Mairead Philpott and friend Paul Mosley all deny the manslaughter of the six children in Derby.

Mr Philpott, under cross-examination by his wife's counsel, Shaun Smith, told the court he changed his t-shirt every day but did not change his trousers.

like a gorgeous damsel in distress, Hedda ran out of petrol yesterday as all the warning lights have gone on the blink.

I walked half a mile with a can ( no gentleman in sight) and got myself up and going again but someone today said "you smell of petrol"..even though I have bathed and changed..........there may be truth in his defense.

I wondered what the point of bringing it up was. This man comes across as thoroughly revolting. I am astounded that he managed to find one person daft enough to sleep with him yet they appear to have been queuing up.
How come we have been subjected to hearing about the Phillpot's antics on the table with their friend? Is it to show that she was dominated? Or to imply payment for helping?

the mention of Dogging sent me into a decline.

I think even ITK may agree with me that the peasants are revolting.

They were probably all the same. They dont look as if they've had their hair done in years.

I wonder ... if you dont wash for 12 weeks - perhaps you lose a sense of smell? After all - if it (the stench !) is something that you are used to ....
