Oh yes; it's after the war; a stand alone series of 3 and the new set up is bound to be explained.

But I don't think they should drop her. A successful 'character' can either annoy or please.

Yes it wasn't as good as I hoped but a great atmosphere and I adore his new "boss" - she has a splendid Flora Robson type face and is good in everything she does (don't know her name... Google will be my fweng).

Ellie Haddington (thanks Sam Wollaston)... magnificent.

Third and final show of the short series; I just love watching Michael Kitchen under acting; Honeysuckle Weeks is gorgeous (I think); and the costumes and sets are wonderful even if the odd bus was out of place.
