Fortunately Bloggers have replaced them and this detailed, researched piece really OUGHT to be a double page spread in the Daily Mail...

Absolutely extraordinary detailed piece - I cannot understand why a national paper hasn't picked this up. I sometimes wonder about the atmosphere in daily paper offices. Nobody online finding stories? Nobody making calls? Everyone just praying their next week's check will arrive?

In my day this would be a front page exclusive on the Easter Day Sunday Times. Perhaps it still will be. Do they get KingOfHits in Wapping or Tom More Square?

without a doubt..a tale about the investigation of Savile, taking an alternative view (such as Mizz Racoon or Moor Larkin's excellent blog) would indubitably be a hot Sunday newspaper feature.

It defies all common sense that some clever editor hasn't commissioned one.

Because it as JK would say..one bloody Good Story.

It also shows the fear of taking an alternate view has frightened everyone into silence.
