Watching Aintree, why are the horses allowed, when jumping, to knock the top of the fences (some of them were almost destroyed today)?

I dont know, but i read somewhere that they have replaced the wooden fence supports with flexible plastic this year to make it safer for the horses.

Because it's not Showjumping, I was told.

The fences are made of bits of Evergreens all put together to create a fence & put round silicon based plastic stuff (as already described).

I've fed everything I know about the Grand National & Our Bob is the only one that actually qualifies of all criteria need to run this & coincidently Yahoo, did a similar thing & came up with the same selection, as me. Now all it needs to do is win & it's 20-1.

I backed Oscar Time in anticipation of my Best Movie Oscar coming for The Pink Marble Egg; he came a damn good 4th (if he'd won I'd have made £660).
