Labour is considering changing the welfare system to reward those who give more to their community, the shadow work and pensions secretary has said.

Those who contribute nothing, deserve nothing.

Once you abandon that principle you end up on the "no moral compass" road.

Ah but ITK some of us totally disagree with your comment; many of those who contribute nothing CANNOT contribute anything; and even those who choose to contribute nothing should, in a decent society, be looked after. You've gone to the extreme again. Yes; don't lavish them with cash but please; provide food, lodging, healthcare for the needy - no matter why they are needy.

I am shocked that anyone would want to penalise the weaker members of society who may fully contribute to society even if they cant work.
