I have noticed Russell is becoming an interesting interviewee on the subject of addiction and others things
He gave a good interview to Jon Snow on Channel 4 recently, which was ruined at the end by Snow bringing "Savile" into it, something the RB clearly wasn't wanting him to do. Media agendas etc, Jon Snow must be another arsehole?

He really is an excellent writer; this is a first class piece, even if I don't agree with some of it.

There is also a fascinating Guardian piece (Russell's article is carried in there) on What If Willie Whitelaw and not Maggie had become PM.

Conclusion - we'd be in much the same place as we are now.
