Goodbye Maggie - the most outstanding human being I ever met 12 Years, 3 Months ago
I very much doubt whether I'll ever meet anyone else with that charisma, charm and humanity.

Again let me say (as I do on the marvellous BBC taped show MCR Media found - it's on the Tipsheet forum) - the actual policies and politics are another matter entirely for somewhere else.

As a person she was head and shoulders above every other Prime Minister (I met most of them) in the last 60 years. And left other stars miles behind. Remember - I've been lucky enough to know John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and others, some of them pretty well; many would be regarded - rightly - as stars rather than celebrities (I am a mere minor celebrity). But none came anywhere near her in the area of personal charisma.

An incredible woman and a very fine human being.

Yes we do.
I am disappointed that they didn't play your Wurzel song as she was carried in.

Ah, Honey, I turned the sound down for that bit and played my Faithful track; it fitted perfectly!

Super speech by the Bishop of London; I have no idea who he is but liked him enormously; a future star.

Oh my God; Google (my fweng) tells me he was probably a Trinity Cambridge contemporary!

Well I thought it was spectacularly well done, some of the camera shots were sensational (the one from above was pure art), I'm full of admiration for the Queen and Prince Philip (as always), amazing Kissinger almost 90... yet another terrific, dignified service - boosting the image of Great Britain.

Maggie would have been proud.

you are entitled to your view but that's the oddest hagiography I've read yet !

the sight of people weeping over an 87 year old dame who had a good innings and died in peace in a suite at the Ritz is quite bizarre.

the whole affair has been a triumph of hokey nationalistic claptrap.

Sainthood must surely follow
