Why do I seem to be alone in feeling sympathy for the Boston bombers whilst not feeling any less sympathy for the dead innocents and their families? Is compassion really so restricted? Am I mad to believe that one can and should feel sympathy for everyone involved in tragedies?
No, it isn't just you. I cant imagine the horror and shame their family must be going through and it sounds as if they were relatively normal young men until they were brainwashed by an extremist group.
If that is the case, they are victims too.
Thank you Honey; and, at the same time, I think we should be most impressed by the speed that the FBI found and captured the perpetrators (though slightly disturbed that they are, of course, guilty unless proven innocent, like everyone this century).
