Prison reform - another barmy minister 12 Years, 2 Months ago
Chris Grayling (even the name implies smooth skinned bland media controlled faceless wanker) introduces revolutionary new rules to stop prisons being "Holiday Camps". God it's sickening to watch these pathetic excuses for Ministers obey the tabloid slogan headlines and morality.

It will not make one bit of difference. Yes, life will be slightly less bearable and slightly more boring for inmates (boredom is the worst thing about prison) but not one less offender will commit one less crime on release.

They really don't have a clue, do they, and don't care for one second.

We can't help but anticipate with guilty pleasure the inevitable scandal, collapse and prison sentence Grayling and the others will inevitably experience as society continues its mad way towards the edge of that cliff.

So long as it keeps the Daily Mail brigade happy!

...and I'm sure last week I read a story about how a partner under new laws can check up on their new found love to see if they have any convictions...

...please tell me I dreamt that!

No - absolutely true FC - and the entire Grayling initiative is simply cosmetic meaningless shit to make it look as though they are strict and right wing instead of doing something about prison overcrowding and bad management.

Halve the prison population, increase intelligent education - billions saved, far less crime and Mail condemnation.

Stop prisoners wearing jeans and watching SKY - no impact of any sort but Mail calls you a Prime Ministerial contender.

And JK calls you a Wanker. Result!

That's for sure!
I cant understand the meanness of wanting prisoners to suffer more.
Even the newspapers report a prisoner being at risk of rape or other violent assault as if it is a good thing.
