The Nigel Evans fiasco - brilliant 12 Years, 2 Months ago

This could mark a major turning point in the insanity that started 13 years ago. A high profile MP - full spotlight on the allegations; if they turn out to be false he, and the police, will have to look at the motives, causes, intentions and both Parliament and the media may - at long long last - start examining the false allegations industry.
There could well then be prosecutions. Now there are hundreds of prosecutions every year for perjury in the sexual area and many, many convictions but they get hidden, buried away by the forces who regard all accusations as true because it suits their agenda.
There will be less outcry from the blinkered feminists because MALE rape doesn't bother them - it's the poor, damaged, vulnerable abused women they care for (there are no other kind).
David Davis has dared to mention the ugly truth that the extraordinary neutered media has chosen to avoid (like phone hacking until the dim, dumb Guardian broke ranks without realising the consequences). "A blackmailer's charter".
Read my autobiography for Bob Woffinden's detailed report on one of my false accusers.
Like publicist Max Clifford (who always said we must believe all accusers), this may open the eyes of individual politicians. Unless, of course, they decide to wait until claims are made against THEM. If Nigel Evans is charged and convicted, Cabinet Ministers past and present will start getting very nervous.
Unless you agree with the Guardian that women can never be blackmailers.
HOWEVER...
If Max Clifford's original concept (watch Vile Pervert: The Musical for further explanation) is correct, and the media exposure DOES provoke dozens of other allegations (Waxie Maxie and police would say all true - which is why the media supports publishing questioned and arrested names; not, of course, that IT'S A GREAT STORY) as it did in my case and in that of many other innocent men (John Leslie, Matthew Kelly, etc) - then Evans is toast and the great British public will simply assume, as they do with Savile, Hall and others, that most celebrities are perverts.
Because, as the police and Waxie know, the law considers similar allegations (in my case - similar to other reports previously published and similar to details given by helpful police officers - "I remember his front door was painted blue") to be evidence.
