Ignore all the Yewtree rumours; he has been the premier manager of the past quarter century. Stunning, incredible. Yes, many don't like him (usually the same people who hate Man U).

I know nothing about football but even I can see the results. Sensational.

Bob Paisley - a better man, a better manager. Thatcher and Ferguson gone in the same year - Hoorah!

I tell you, man, it's crazy round here! There I was, out for ma Big Mac again after being so rudely interrupted the day before, and suddenly this crazy old guy with a big ol' red nose comes runnin' out of a bar straight at me screaming, 'I'm Alex Flurgasund an' I gotta tell everyone I'm retirin'!' And then he grabs ma phone, makes me drop ma Big Mac on the dirty floor, and he start callin' everyone in the whole goddamn world! Honestly, man, there ain't nowhere these days where you can eat a Big Mac in peace!

Choke, cough...ahem...the results do speak for themselves, AF is a successful manager of an unlikeable club with unlikeable fans, choke, cough, gurgle..........thats all I can manage to say about him, choke , cough

..........now I'll talk in plain speak all you like about Bob Paisley. Fantastic manager, great interviews he used to give, didn't say much, but what he said was funny and true.....and he had a fantastic soft NE accent.......a massively underated and understated manager from the days of brash headline grabbers like Bond, Allison, Clough et al..........

In life, there are successful people, good at their job and no reason to ever meet them in the flesh who you don't like , and ones that you do.

From a distance, Bob Paisley = warm character, warm demeanour and generally likeable media interactions
AF = dour, irrascible, argumentative, authoritarian, and rubbish at media interviews

It doesn't make AF a bad person, I've never met him, but the TV AF I see and he projects , I don't like........

For a whisky-nosed twat, there's NO ONE before (or likely since) remotely in his class as talent spotter, motivator, and consistent winner.

Even ONE Premiership is hard to win, so name ONE other manager fit to lace his boots.

Plus, he's a Glasgee born 'n' bred learned Lefty, and rightly hates the soft southern bastard raving-Right bent-meeja.

But he didn't drink milk. Or slander just about everyone else in his business. Or behave like the most boorish bore out there. Or crawl up Alistair Campbell's arse for a knighthood.

One further observation...i understand that AF took his motivation from the 70s and 80s dominance of another successful organisation..his idea was to out do and be more successful than they were. He was.

Take that as a lesson for life really. Things are possible if you are motivated.

And i also understand that in reality, he did not have the football fans hate or ridiculous malicious rivalry as motivation....it was professional satisfaction.

I 'm not a fan of his, but i dont think he is bothered about that....why should he, he won stuff

i don't know if this comment is sarcasm/humour or if there was ever a rumour about Ferguson being investigated in the Yewtree operation. If it is the later I find it incredibly hypocritical that you should wish to repeat it, albeit in a somewhat oblique way.
