I like Spiked and Brendan O'Neill who i often disagree with. He's regularly interviewed on Oz radio by a former Tory politician but he gets so much right especially about the new 'Left' !!
(what about that ITK ?? don't choke on your crumpet )

False sex claims take an awful toll
By Jane Moore
From The Sun Wednesday 8th May 2013
THIS week I watched the Danish movie The Hunt, about a nursery school worker falsely accused of child abuse.
One minute he’s a much-loved pillar of the community, the next he’s a pariah being man-handled out of the grocery store by disgusted staff.
It’s a compellingly understated film that provokes instant debate because, even though you know from the outset that he’s innocent, you also understand the reactions of the parents involved, who only have a young girl’s revelation to judge him by.
But ultimately it is a tale of how an unfounded rumour can escalate to seemingly incontrovertible fact in the court of public opinion, and how an innocent man’s mental and physical wellbeing can be destroyed by a “guilty until proven innocent” mindset and the visceral brutality of mob justice.
Last week, life imitated Danish art when builder Jason McCue, a 34-year-old father of two, told of his “living nightmare” after being accused of flashing at two teenage girls.
Mr McCue, from Chorley, Lancs, was arrested, forced to give DNA samples, had his fingerprints and other body samples taken and was hauled before magistrates on three occasions where he protested his innocence but was told he would face trial by jury at crown court.
Then, just before the case started, one of the girls admitted making the whole thing up because Mr McCue - who suffered a breakdown over the false allegations - had fallen out with one of their families.
He says: “I’ve been through months of pure hell. If they wanted to ruin me, it worked...I’ve been feeling embarrassed and ashamed for something I’ve not even done because it’s easy for people to jump to conclusions. “
It is indeed. Particularly in these febrile times when the small germ of innuendo rapidly becomes a full-blown fever via the largely lawless avenues of networking sites.
Rolf Harris was named online long before The Sun revealed his recent arrest for sex abuse allegations.
He hasn’t been charged with anything, yet already Channel 5 have dropped his TV shows pending the outcome of the investigation.
Similarly, Jim Davidson was dropped from Celebrity Big Brother as a direct result of his arrest over historic claims. Now, as Jimmy Tarbuck becomes the latest high-profile arrest, can there be any star from the 1970s who isn’t wondering whether theirs will be the next house subjected to the theatrical posturing of a police dawn raid over allegations dating back decades?
Because for every 100 genuine victims of sexual abuse - Stuart Hall’s being some of them - there could be one fantasist sticking a pin in the Radio Times and saying: “Whose life shall I ruin today?”
According to a recent report by the Crown Prosecution Service, an average of two people a month are now being prosecuted for making false allegations of rape in cases that don’t always make the papers.
One, 22-year-old Elizabeth Jones, has been jailed for 16 months after making her 11th false rape claim.
Undoubtedly, all claims of sexual abuse must be investigated thoroughly by the police and the majority may prove to be true.
But we should bear in mind that a minority will also be false, perhaps made in the pursuit of revenge or compensation.
Accordingly, surely we should stop treating such claims so emotionally, maintain an “innocent until proven guilty” mindset and try to let justice take its course in a calm and measured way.

What an arrogant man. So his opinion is gospel and anyone who deviates from it should be delt with? Why would he want this woman to loose her job?
