I was going through some 1980s copies of Record Mirror & thought this might be lighthearted interest!

Each year, the public were polled in who they thought were the top 10 pillocks of the year.

I have more, but this was the 1987 list (JK may be happy to be down to joint number 10!)

Surprised by Mike Smith appearing there. Was he a pillock? I must admit I don't remember him on the radio - only as Noel Edmonds' (I am surprised HE isn't on there) sidekick on the Late Late Death Show .
