Labour in total disarray ... those (that matter) can see the government is doing a good job (repaying Labour's debt).

We are now paying SIX BILLION POUNDS A YEAR LESS in debt interest payments that we were when we took over. Thats 6,000,000,000 that can be spend elsewhere - NHS, education, etc

When this government came to power 1 pound spent in every four was borrowed money ... if Labour had remained in power you would not be reading this now - as the bailiffs would have just taken away your computer !!!

I always go with the belief that if Labour really wanted to win the Election in 2010, they would have got rid of Brown. He was and always will be, an electoral disaster. The electorate want someone who will smile, will empathise and will understand. Blair and Cameron both have those characteristics, even if they are Cheshire Cat smiles. Brown had no personality and not much empathy. Who wants to vote for a miserable sod?

The report on the professionals quitting in droves countries that followed the loony left agenda?

Greece - where thousands have left to seek work elsewhere (as no one is being paid in Greece - the country is bust).

Or Portugal, where 120,000 professional (the money generators) have quit and are going to places like Angola to find work?

The Office of Budget Responsibily, for example, confirms that interest on the goverment's current debts is running at £46.5B a year - a significant increase, over the past few years. See their website or those of the government. Why continue to quote erroneous figures?

Three years ago, we set out plans to make savings and reduce our borrowing.

Instead of the £157 billion the last government was borrowing, this year, we are set to borrow £108 billion pounds.
That’s £49 billion less in borrowing.

That’s virtually the entire education budget.

I can report that the biggest single saving we’ve made in government is the £6 billion pounds a year less we are paying to service our debts.

We will still live in a country of obsessed media & those that "decide" what we should & shouldn't be doing plus other clueless wonders, that are so out of touch with working life in the 21st Century & have not a clue, what is happening within the NHS.

I vote the Country should be run by a 65 year old & that the Royal Family should be axed, as well as Eastenders & all other Soaps. All Newspapers should close immediately, the Licence Fee be abolished & Free Speech be essential in society.

Because of the huge budget deficit, the national debt is currently increasing by c£121b per annum, or around £2.3b each week!

Interesting points, bh ... but the country is only "media obsessed" because you allow it to be !

Ignore it - just as I ignored ALL of the Olympics (in our house they simply didnt happen !)

Dont buy newspapers (old news) - select what you want to read and ignore the rest.

Live life for yourself - not as others say it should be !

Good to know, Pattaya, that the Coalition has already paid off ONE THIRD of Labour's deficit (see Budget statement - above - for more details).
