Fantastic win today by Marion Bartoli over Sabine Lasiki in the Wimbledon Ladies Final.

I believed in her all along as shown from my previous post. Sabine is great, but Marion didn't really get the credit that she deserved before the game. The bbc previews hardly featured Marion at all and she showed great strength of nerve to overcome the crowd favourite Sabine.

Who would have believed before the tournament that anyone other than Serena Williams would win this tournament. Marion is unlikely to win another grand slam title at 28, but now her place in Tennis history is assured.
