TOPIC: Cory Glee

Cory Glee 12 Years ago
I must admit I gave up on Glee very fast, becoming annoyed by it.
Tends to happen with US shows.
Automatic pilot kicks in very quick and standards decline.
Except The Simpsons.
I can't even think which one Cory was.
Even after seeing his photo.

Horrendous show
All those empty meaningless insincere 'tweets' from brainless "stars" now when someone like this pegs it - is there any wonder these people become suicidal, drugged-up casualties? I think I would too if I was caught up in such a shallow existence.

I think I only watched one or two episodes because the music annoyed me.
I have nothing against covers, but I think they should add something, be done in a different way or at least be heaps better.

The girlfriend loves it I find it confusing as it has no plot.

Not as good as it used to be but still better than other crap on TV.

Reminded me too much of Fame from the 80s and I hated growing up with that....

Re:Cory Glee 11 Years, 12 Months ago
The first half of season 1 of Glee was excellent frothy fun, but it soon petered out (or steered itself even more to the tweenies), and I gave up on it a few episodes into season 2... like many US TV shows, producing over 16 hours of programming every single year (24 x 40 minutes, the equivalent of all 3 Godfather Films plus all 3 Matrix films) inevitably means any concept will be spread increasingly thin, and "kids singing in high school" wasn't that long-term a pitch to start with...

I feel sorry for Cory though, by all accounts he was a nice guy, albeit one with problems, and by most standards was a huge success... it's always a shame when that is cut short, for whatever reason.
