brought to my attention on another thread here but worthy of it's own. Quite remarkable but what impresses me is that Anna Raccoon has shown herself to be a more accurate, insightful and truthful journalist in the full sense than anyone who now inhabits that collective joke we call 'Fleet Street'.

One recent example is the secret recording of The Sun journalists and Rupert : where they all basically admit to either knowingly bribing public officials or being ignorant that it may be an offense to.

I'm torn between the facts : they quite possibly are that ignorant or they have had it their own way for so long they simply cannot contemplate that they would ever be caught.

Do they never read their own rags ?..full of tales of criminals who snub their noses at the law- whether smuggling drugs, defrauding banks , holding up stores...until one day they get caught.

Anna is one of a new breed of citizen journalists who can expose the lies and reveal the truth...and they aren't beholden to their advertisers or the prejudices of their readers.

This is actually a true statement. I sounds like a rhetorical exaggeration, as we would expect from Hedda Gabbler, but no, upon examination it's actually a simple fact. What ever happened to all those professional journalists who report the facts, just the facts, and nothing but the facts?
