Emily Bronte (who wrote Wuthering Heights) was born on this day in 1818. Kate Bush (who had a massive debut hit with Wuthering Heights) was born on this day in 1958 ! Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

It was (apparently) the shared birthday that made Kate Bush interested in her books.

We visited Haworth yesterday. Beautiful quaint little village. The forecast rain prevented us from walking over the moors to Top Withins (Wuthering Heights).

It seemed strangely intrusive to be looking at the different rooms in the parsonage, and seeing the sofa (on which Anne died), and the room in which Charlotte died.
