Two years ago I asked JK's indulgence for the opportunity to plug my Kindle book of short stories, Al Qaeda Broke My Suitcase and other stories. I was surprised when he let me post on the Tipsheet board and wrote some kind and encouraging words in response. Thanks JK. Well, that book did extremely well, selling over 1800 copies. On Christmas Day in 2011 it sold 25 copies alone. Not bad for a nonentity like myself with his first published book of short stories. You can see how well it did by how many other books are now listed under: 'Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought' in the Amazon.co.uk store.
