I admit I haven't worked with him for years, but what a voice. Dear Kenny Everett plugged the lovely Ain't it Funny for ages and it tanked. Should"'ve even a hit.n Horrible luck for one of the sweetest voices we've ever produced. And he's still around in fine fettle. Book him, you tv idiots!

Saw him at John's funeral along with Rod and Chris - the reason I am here today is that, when asked which producers I admired by Tony Hall, looking for me to sign with an independent, I answered Mickie Most, Andy Oldham and whoever produces The Zombies. He told me not to sign to Mickie or Andrew but to Joe Roncoroni and Ken Jones... they made Everyone's Gone To The Moon, immediately signed me to a partnership with their publishing company, and the rest is history. We still publish The Zombies (Colin was lead singer, for those who don't know).
